Britney Spears has taken a leaf out of Madonna's book for reinventing herself. It seems the singer has adopted a new platinum blonde look reminiscent of movie stars of the 1940s for her Onyx Hotel Tour. Her hair is white blonde whilst the lips and nails are a vampish scarlet - WOW!

| Madonna visits Kabbalah festival |

Mega star Madonna took her family to a Kabbalah festival recently in Los Angeles and was seen taking part in some of the activities with husband Guy Richie and their children. During the day the pop diva had a go at trampolining whilst strapped into a harness. The branch of Judaism has attracted many celebrity followers including Britney Spears.

It's been 3 years since Madonna went on tour but she is about to embark on her latest 13-dater starting in the US and ending with a performance at London's Earl's Court. The megastar has been posing for publicity shots in Los Angeles and from the look of them we are about to see yet another change of image. The photos show the star dressed like someone out of Dangerous Liaisons with huge blonde wig and deep plunging necklines on her 19th C style dress.

Pop icon and mother of 2 Madonna is trying for another baby with husband Guy Ritchie. She has apparantly been spotted at a fertility clinic in LA to see if she is OK to try for another. One would think with her macrobiotic diet and healthy exersize regime she wouldn't need to ask.

Sean Penn, ex husband of megastar Madonna, has taken the Oscar for best actor this year at the 76th Academy Awards in Los Angeles. The star, who usually shuns public events, attended the ceremony with his mother and received his award for his role in the movie Mystic River, directed by veteran Clint Eastwood.

Pop divas Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears may have both kissed Madonna onstage last year but it seems they don't get on so well together. Christina has described Britney as being lost and in need of guidance. Britney, meanwhile, has hit back by relating an incident when Ms Aguilera approached her in a nightclub after they hadn't seen each other for 2 years and attempted to stick her tongue down her throat!

UK comediennes Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders paid their own special tribute to Pop Babes Britney Spears and Madonna in their Christmas Special TV show. They presented their version of Britney's In The Zone video where the ladies come close to reprising that controversial kiss, except that Madonna, played by Jennifer Saunders looked petrified at the prospect of a "French" kiss.

Pop queen Madonna is to be Maid of Honour to Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin of Coldplay when they wed. It is rumoured that the wedding may be imminent as the couple collected a special licence from Santa Barbara recently which allows them to marry within 90 days.

Gwyneth Paltrow has beaten Madonna to the role of Joan Hannington, otherwise known as the Godmother, a British con artist who was imprisoned for 18 months in the 80s. Joan Hannington said she was pleased that Gwyneth had got the role as she felt she could mimic the Cockney accent better than Madonna.

Maverick records and Madonna have been an item for 11 years but it seems that this may soon change. Word is that Warner Music who co-own Maverick are set to sell and Madonna is worried that the label may not be worth as much if this goes through. Consequently Mrs Ritchie wants to renegotiate her contract but Warner are not willing to do this. It may be a case of see you in court.

It seems that Britney Spears could not get enough of Madonna at the MTV Video Music Awards when they shared a controversial onstage kiss. Madonna co-stars on Britney's new video Me Against The Music and they almost reprise that kiss at the end of a video which shows both ladies suggestively cavorting around a bed. Britney was said to have been thrilled to work with her idol and gushed "It was a dream come true."

The album, titled Body Language is due for release on November 17th, 2 days after the concert. Tickets will be available to competition winners on radio, in magazines and on the internet.
