It was a night to remember when the stars performed hits form the great Hollywood musicals at the cancer research charity bash on board the Queen Mary 2 in New York. The luxury cruise liner was docked in the Big Apple before its return trip to the UK. Stars performing were Beyonce Knowles, Antonio Banderas and Jon Bon Jovi.

Ms Knowles little sister looks very much like the r n b star which can't be bad and if she has half as much talent then the movie Johnson Family Vacation is bound to be a big hit. There to add further support was dad Matthew with Tina, his wife and Beyonce's ex bandmate Kelly Rowland.

Latest to add to the collect come from the Soul Train Music Awards where she went home with the Best Female R n B/Soul album for Dangerously In Love. Ms Knowles was also the honoured recipient of the Sammy Davis Jnr award for female Entertainer of the Year.

Ex Destiny's Child Beyonce Knowles and R 'n B sensation Alicia Keys are to headline the Verizon Ladies First Tour along with Missy Elliott. The 20 date tour begins in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on March 12th and ends at Oakland Coliseum, California on April 18th.

Beyonce Knowles, like many another adolescent schoolgirl, has not always felt confident with her appearance. The successful diva was not as thin as her friends and thought her thighs were too large. Not only that but she was teased about the size of her ears and called Dumbo. Thankfully, her family were always supportive and provided a positive influence to the young singer and these days she certainly gets no complaints about the way she looks.

Wearing a short white dress and £250,000 worth of diamonds the r n b beauty sent up Janet Jackson's recent faux pas by having one of her dancers suddenly remove his trousers to reveal Union Jack boxer shorts. The singer took away the award for Best International Female.

Although the media has tried to say that Beyonce Knowles is becoming a diva recently it seems that the report was just a tad exaggerated. Press said that her list of requirements for her performance at the Superbowl were unreasonable. Her list included having the temperature in her trailer at a constant 78 degrees, but apparantly this is normal for many singers who wish to look after their voices as extreme temperatures, especially air conditioning, can affect them. At least she didn't demand everything to be white, unlike a certain Ms Jennifer Lopez who gave such instructions for a charity gig at which she performed.

Beyonce took home the following in the R n B category, Best Female vocal performance, duo with Luther Vandross, Song for Crazy In Love, Contemporary album for Dangerously In Love and Re-Mixed Recording also for Crazy In Love. Other winners included Christina Aguilera for Best Female Pop Vocal for Beautiful and Kylie Minogue won Best Dance Recording for Come Into My World.

Beyonce, Britney and Pink were at the National Gallery in London for the launch of the latest epic Pepsi commercial. The advertisement was filmed in Rome and Beyonce was keen to see some of Michelangelo's work on show there after seeing the Sistine Chapel. The commercial features the stars as gladiators in a Roman ampitheatre getting the better of emporer Enrique Iglesias.

Beautiful Beyonce Knowles was the latest celebrity to be fooled by the American TV show Punk'd. She was asked to finish off the decorating of the Christmas tree for a group of orphans in Los Angeles by placing the star on the top. After she did so the tree came crashing down, damaging all the children's presents underneath. The singer was distraught as the children began to cry and promised that she would replace them. However, it was all a merry jape and all the kids were in on the practical joke.

Ronan Keating's Pink Ribbon Ball held at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin was well attended by high profile celebrities including Samantha Mumba. A charity auction was part of the evening where bids were made for such items as diamond necklaces, plasma screen TVs and tickets for Beyonce's sell-out concert. Ronan began the Marie Keating Foundation 5 years ago after his mother tragically died from the disease.
