| PC gamers en route to Vice City. |
With release dates of May 13, 2003 for the US, and 16 May, 2003 for the UK, PC games will soon be enjoying the thrills of Rockstar's greatest game yet. Fans of Grand Theft Auto games should prepare themselves for the improved graphics and audio of this great game.
Look forward to even more control and better customization options than ever before as you step back to the glamorous, and corrupt 1980s and enjoy twice as many missions as the previous game. Vice City is huge and the action is loud.
Tommy Vercetti is back on the street with new moves, improved shooting options and even more weapons. Vice City includes almost 100 vehicles, including motorbikes, golf carts and choppers, plus lots of new characters with improved intelligence. But what's going to blow your mind even more is the Ten hours' worth of great 80s music - make sure you have a sound card and speaker system that will do it justice.

| The Getaway vs Vice City |
|
While we were all expecting to see 'Vice City' run away with the PS2 Games Christmas sales record, suddenly a newcomer arrived from Team Soho. 'The Getaway', published by SCEE, leapt to the top of the UK Sales Chart thanks to its brilliant story line, and great game play. Despite a setback in early January (we're told that BT insisted that their van was removed from the game), and demand outstripping supply, the game has done well in early 2003, and is sure to be near the top of the sales chart for the remainder of the year. Rockstar won't be too upsest as sales of 'Vice City' were massive in the states, and many will see the two games as different enough to justify the purchase of both. PlayStation 2 fans who finish 'Vice City', have to play 'The Getaway' next, and visa versa.

| Vice City PC Version? |
|
It is understood that Rockstar have the PC version of Vice City in the final test phase. Recently adverts for testers to work on the PC version of a 'major PS2 game' have been spotted. This is despite speculation that Sony had blocked the game appearing on platforms other than the PS2. It is now believed that the veto probably applies to consoles such as XBox and GameCube, but doesn't include the PC.

| XBox Live Internet Launches |
|
XBox Live has finally launched, with a one-year subscription priced at $49. This includes demos of two games and a voice communication kit. XBox fans are eager to find out whether Microsoft's $2 Billion assault on the gaming market is enough to make the XBox the center of our home entertainment networks. Much will depend on the ability of the online games to capture the attention of the public. Despite its technical superiority, XBox is struggling to compete against the massive success of games like Vice City which was recently launched on the Sony PlayStation PS2 platform. More attention on the Microsoft gaming platform is good for existing users who are eager for more new games for the console.

| GTA Vice City Released |
The awesome news for seasoned GTA3 gamers is that the follow up to the classic PS2 game is released October 31 2002. The new venue for mayhem is a town by the sea - "Vice City" - which has got to have been inspired by 80s classic cop show "Miami Vice".
The game has a typical Rockstar Games anti-hero in Tommy Vercetti who is voiced for the game by Hollywood veteran Ray Liotta. The format won't be too strange for GTA3 fans - it's a mix of car theft and sundry other random violence.
The other good news is that the graphics fully benefit from the time since the release of GTA3. The city is twice the size of "Liberty City" and the animation is considerably more detailed (in our humble opinion). The other good news is that GTA VC is full of cars - over a hundred, as well as boats and other transport options!
We think this one is a winner!
